Waitomo Farmstay
We offer self-contained, self-catering accommodation in our rustic 100-year-old cottages. You can choose from private cottages for you and your friends/family, family rooms, or single beds for those on a budget.
Located in a beautiful valley just 8km from otorohanga, we are situated on 20 fertile acres used to rear calves, graze horses, sheep and llamas. It's an easy drive to Rotorua, Hamilton and Auckland making an excellent base from which to explore the North Island of New Zealand.
 The friendly animals waiting to meet you include lop-ear rabbits, sheep, Homer and Marg the llamas, Mac the galloway, flea the cow and her babies, and Matilda the kunekune pig. We offer our guests discounted horse-riding including
lessons for beginners, so don't be shy to let us know if you'd like to try your hand at riding! Just make sure you have full shoes (jandals/sandals are
